Increases in the local crime rates are largely the result of a lack of opportunity. Other contributors include chemical dependency, mental illness, and the culture of violence often celebrated on social media are at the root. Activist judges, selective enforcement of the law only add to the problem. Law enforcement is being hobbled by media depicting them as the antagonists.

Between 2018 and 2022, $706 Million in federal funds came into Georgia to address homelessness. Additional Millions in federal funding went to affordable housing programs, particularly in the 13th District. Over 90% of the funding went to "administrative costs" such as posh offices and 6-figure incomes. In 11 years, only 5 houses have been built in the District under these affordable housing programs, and the homeless are offered little more than counseling under homeless assistance programs. Meanwhile, homeless encampments continue to grow throughout the district.

Only 2.8% of the laborers in the 13th District are skilled workers. Investing in training our residents affords our community opportunities to obtain higher-wage jobs within the district. This leads to a rise in incomes as well as improvements in quality of life. Caesar Gonzales is building real solutions in GA's 13th District, supporting solutions like paid vocational training that provides students and displaced workers opportunities to earn higher wages. The 13th District needs to be better prepared to take advantage of the GIG, Tech,  and coming Space Economy.

No matter what the Democrat alarmists say, One Person = One Vote

Racial redistricting is racism/segregation, something we fought against 60+ years ago. Democrats supporting racial redistricting for political advantage is racist, not surprising from the party that instituted & supported Jim Crow and segregational practices in the past.

Caesar Gonzales is present and passionate about protecting your vote in the 13th District, having worked as an observer and ballot reviewer in the 2020 election as well as working with True The Vote to clean up the process. 

 No program addressing societal challenges will ever work in the urban communities until corruption is checked. Read that again.

So when a candidate talks about needing more funding for social programs in the community, ask them what happened to the $Billions in funding and resources that already came in for the aforementioned programs. 

We cannot keep voting for the same people making the same promises for the last 20 years while our communities remain in squalor. Witness the changes on Tara Blvd in the last 20 years and ask yourself who has been in office for the last 20 years.

Drive down Tara Boulevard and you see a lot of shuttered businesses. Empty commercial properties are all over The 13th District.

When the legislative structure turns its back on  business, it reduces its revenue base, driving up taxes elsewhere such as property taxes, which discourages home ownership. No support for entrepreneurship = no economic growth = urban decay. This allows investment companies to buy up single family homes, converting them to rentals.

Caesar Gonzales supports entrepreneurship and providing a better economic climate for local businesses to flourish. This, in turn, raises median incomes and the quality of life in the community.
